Orchids….

 Flowers can be very difficult to photograph properly if you don’t have good light set up.  A good light set up in this case is just one of my windows in the house.  The sun is lower, its afternoon, and it is shining directly onto the flower from the back.  The flower diffuses the light creating this effect.
